Brittany, class of 2010
I attended Northshore during the winter of 2010, and by July I was working for a great dentist in the Snohomish area. I really enjoyed the fast-paced program and small classes of 12 students, and because of that, we were able to have an extra help when needed. The staff is amazing and so knowledgeable in all aspects of dentistry. If you're looking to find a career as a dental assistant you need to consider Northshore! |

Genevieve, class of 2010, (www.pacificpedo.com)
Fantastic program! I graduated from Northshore in May of 2010 and quickly got a job at a great Pedo office in Edmonds, WA. Cynthia and her staff really go above and beyond in their teaching and know how to gain friendships on a personal level. Classes were always a lot of fun while also staying on point. When I was attending school, I lived in Wenatchee, WA which was 3 hours away from class. Cynthia was always accommodating to my driving situation and mad sure I was safe going back and forth in the snow. I am so lad I mad the switch into dental assisting. I know I have made the best decision by attending Northshore. I enjoy going to work everyday and going through this program has opened many doors for me. |

Rita, class of 2006
I could never thank you enough for introducing me to Dentistry. Your passion and commitment to the profession really motivated me to pursue dental school. The skills I learned at Northshore allowed me to gain the experience and connections necessary for my acceptance to Nova Dental School. Life will never be the same again, and I have you to thank. I know that the life of an educator is to touch and change lives day in and day out. But I just wanted to make sure the you knew how MUCH you changed mine for the better, and I could not thank you enough. |

Keri, (www.new32dental.com)
My experience at Northshore was one of the most rewarding opportunities of my adult life. As a single mother, being able to go to school once a week and still be able to work a full-time job and be there for my daughter, was absolutely one of the best decisions I've made. The instructors there are very focused on teaching every student equally and making sure no one is left behind. THey push you to succeed in their program and give you the tools and knowledge of how the dental field is ran. They are very excepting of students who learn differently. For example, letting you use voice recorders to record all of the lectures they do and making sure everyone is very hands-on with sterilizations, working knee to knee with an instructor to get the feel of what it's going to be like in an office. Being able to work on classmates to get the feel of what it's like to have a patient in your chair, and even helping you write a good resume to help you find a job that fits you. After successfully completing the program, I was very fortunate to become a part of a wonderful team at New32. I enjoy my job very much and one of the great things about being a dental assistant is your hours, many offices work four days a week which allows me time with my family and still bring in a greet income. |

Lindsey, class of 2009, (www.cleavinger.com)
I attended Northshore in the Summer/Fall of 2009. My experience there could not have been better and would recommend it to anyone who is interested in becoming an assistant. I learned the basic procedures and expanded duties that is essential in the ever growing field of dentistry. Cynthia and her staff are always there to go the extra mile and make sure you are confident with your chair side training. With the small class size and the number of instructors, you are sure to get the most out of your time with these wonderful ladies and in this fantastic program. After graduation I landed my dream job working for a female dentist in Bellevue. I could not be happier and I love going to my job everyday. I would not have spent my Saturday any other way then I did at Northshore. Thank you everyone for giving me a fun-filled and much valued experience that I will always have and will definitely never forget. |

Tiffanie, class of 2009, (www.wernerdds.com)
One phone call to Northshore changed my entire life. I went from just having a job as a barista to having a career that I absolutely love. The class schedule at Northshore fit perfectly with my life as a single mom with 2 kids, and a full-time job. I looked forward to every week leaning new things. The staff were very knowledgable and helped me lean quickly. I loved the small size class, I felt like the staff were more capable of giving more attention to each of us as we needed it. A few weeks before my class of 09' graduated, I felt confident in sending my resume out and received a job within a week. I am now with Dr. Judson Werner and Dr. Joanna Sun at a wonderful practice in Bellevue. I love every part of what I do and I owe that to Cynthia Curtis. Even now, a year later, I can call her for any advice whether it is dental related or personal and she is there for me. I will always remember that first phone call and how it changed my life. Thank you Northshore, the staff and especially Cynthia for having such a wonderful school and advancing my life. |

Holly, class of 2009, (www.feaseldental.com)
I attended Northshore in the winter of 2009. It is an intensive, fast-paced program over a period of 20 weeks. They have a great facility that allows for lectures and practicing your skills in one location. Cynthia and her staff are very knowledgeable and prepare you for a great career in dental assisting. The classes are ideal for someone who is working full-time and wants to study for another career. Northshore taught me the skills and gave me the confidence I needed to pursue my goal of being a dental assistant. I was hired at the office I interned at and have now been there for year and a half, and I love it! I enjoyed my experience at Northshore and would highly recommend this program to anyone wanting a career in the dental assisting field. |

Linda, class of 2008
I enjoyed everything about NSDAA,
especially the staff! Their patience and willingness
to help made lectures and learning procedures fun and
exciting. I was able to take everything I was taught
and apply it towards the job I have now, which I love!
Cynthia still calls to see how everything is going...how
often can you say that about past teachers? I would
recommend NSDAA to anyone interested in becoming a dental
assistant. |

Maricor, class of 2008
I attended NSDAA in Winter 2008.
I'm so grateful for my experience there. I was taught
all the essential aspects of being a dental assistant
and more. The small class size allowed for the staff
to pay attention to each student individually. The program
also allowed for me to keep a full time work schedule,
which was very important. Two weeks prior to graduation,
I was offered a position at Lynnwood Children's Dentistry.
I love working with kids and wouldn't have it any other
way. Thanks to Cynthia and the wonderful staff at NSDAA,
I now have a career. |

best instructors around. The staff at NSDAA is very
knowledgeable, experienced within the field, and always
passionate about helping students succeed. I would highly

dental field. I truly enjoyed my time at NSDAA and would

Marchel, class of 2007
I graduated in the fall of 2007
and was hired within 3 weeks of graduation. I work for
Munson & Rude Endodontic practice in Kirkland. This
is a very fast paced office with high demand and I feel
that if it weren't for the training I received from
NSDAA I wouldn't be here today. NSDAA has high standards
set for their students. The individual attention you
receive from the instructors is outstanding. With a
small class size, Cynthia, Cheri, and the other instructors
always make sure you receive one-on-one knowledge, clinical
and chair side training throughout the program. I would
highly recommend this school if you want to have a bright
future as a dental assistant. Thanks Cynthia and all
the staff at NSDAA. |

April,
class of 2008
I graduated from NSDAA in May of
2008, and by mid-June I received a job working for a
great female dentist in the Kirkland area. By the time
I finished NSDAA I felt ready and excited to get a job
in the field of dental assisting. I enjoy going to work
every day! NSDAA is a fantastic school that allows you
to work full time while starting a new career. They
also have an amazing staff to go along with their awesome
program. If you're considering this career, then you
should be thinking about NSDAA! |

Wendy,
class of 2008
My experience at NSDAA is something
I am very grateful for. All the teachers are knowledgeable
and informative. Cynthia is always available to answer
any questions or concerns I have, even now that I have
completed the course. With the skills I learned at NSDAA,
I was able to start my career at a periodontal office
4 weeks before I graduated. I would recommend anyone
looking to start a career in dental assisting to check
out NSDAA. |

Tara,
class of 2008
I heard about NSDAA from a friend
who had recently graduated and had nothing but great
things to say about the staff and school. I had always
thought being a dental assistant would be a fun and
challenging job. I called the school and met with Cynthia
Curtis. After the meeting, I knew this was the school
for me: class sizes are small, great one-on-one with
the teachers, open labs and classes that fir my schedule.
One of my main concerns was being able to find a job
after graduation. With the help and advice from Cynthia
and the staff, I was able to find a job before I graduated.
I love my job an an orthodontiost's assistant. I know
that what I learned about dentistry and assisting from
NSDAA landed me my dream job. the certificate opened
doors for me, and I was confident enough to apply for
any type of assisting job in the dental field. Even
though I graduated in May of 2008, I can still call
and ask advice and know that Cynthia will be htere for
me. I cannot express how much I love the staff at NSDAA
and would recommend the school to anyone interested
in dental assisting. |

Lydia, class of 2005
I attended NSDAA in Spring of 2005.
Because of the exceptional training I received, I was
able to find a job 3 weeks prior to graduation. I work
in Issaquah at Eastside Pediatric Dental Group and I
just love what I do. Thanks to Cynthia and her awesome
staff I was taught the necessary dental assisting skills
and much more to make it an easy transition from class
to work. Cynthia knew my personality and was able to
recommend a few dental assisting positions for me to
call upon and within a week I had a job. I highly recommend
this school to any prospective student. |

Kellie, class of 2006
Fun, fast paced school, with lots
of attention from each instructor. I LOVE the Staff
at NSDAA. Attending NSDAA was one of the best decisions
that I have made. |

Cynthia, class of 2004
I attended NSDAA in Winter of 2004.
I graduated in April 2004 as Valedictorian of my class
of 10 students. While attending the academy I learned
so much in so many ways! The teachers are wonderful
and extremely knowledgeable about what they teach. They
really care about each individual student. The staff
explains things in a way that each person can understand.
It is very individualized since the classes are small.
Two weeks prior to graduation I was offered a job at
Dr Gerald Becker's office in Shoreline. I went to interview
with Dr. Becker and truly loved him and his staff, so
I accepted the job and started two weeks later. I am
still employed at Dr. Becker's office and I love every
aspect of being a dental assistant. |

Galen, class of 2005
Hi my name is Galen and I love
all of the staff at NSDAA, they make learning fun! After
graduation I decided that I wanted to work in a dental
lab because I like to make things and I love to work
with my hands. I applied to B & H Dental Lab, which
is now known as Sea Brook Dental Lab in Edmonds. Because
of what I was taught in class I was able to take that
knowledge and expand into the lab field. One of my favorite
things to do in class was taking x-rays. Cheri Donlin,
who teaches this at NSDAA, is extremely knowledgeable
in the dental assisting field as well as being awesome
at teaching the different ways to get the best x-ray.
My next favorite thing was how to make a beautiful temporary
crown. This was great fun because you get to be creative.
It's what I learned in this section of the class that
got me my job at the lab. |

Randi , class of 2005
NDAA taught me the basics of dental
assisting and gave me a chance for a career. With the
friendly staff and the small classes, the setting of
the school is home-like. I graduated feeling confident
that I could easily walk out and get a position within
the dental field. I now work in Issaquah with Eastside
Pediatric Dental Group. I love my job and am happy I
chose NDAA. Without all the help from Cynthia, the staff
and the great class schedules, I wouldn't have been
able to accomplish what I have with a full time work
schedule. Thank you NDAA for all that you do! |
