Linda
Pickles, class of 2008
I enjoyed everything about NSDAA,
especially the staff! Their patience and willingness
to help made lectures and learning procedures fun and
exciting. I was able to take everything I was taught
and apply it towards the job I have now, which I love!
Cynthia still calls to see how everything is going...how
often can you say that about past teachers? I would
recommend NSDAA to anyone interested in becoming a dental
assistant. |

Maricor
Magat, class of 2008
I attended NSDAA in Winter 2008.
I'm so grateful for my experience there. I was taught
all the essential aspects of being a dental assistant
and more. The small class size allowed for the staff
to pay attention to each student individually. The program
also allowed for me to keep a full time work schedule,
which was very important. Two weeks prior to graduation,
I was offered a position at Lynnwood Children's Dentistry.
I love working with kids and wouldn't have it any other
way. Thanks to Cynthia and the wonderful staff at NSDAA,
I now have a career. |

Zydek , class of 2008
I attended NSDAA during the Winter
quarter of 2008. It was a fast paced program with the
best instructors around. The staff at NSDAA is very
knowledgeable, experienced within the field, and always
passionate about helping students succeed. I would highly
recommend NSDAA for anyone that is interested in the
dental field. I truly enjoyed my time at NSDAA and would
not change a thing about it - it's a great school. |

Marchel
Jorgensen, class of 2007
I graduated in the fall of 2007
and was hired within 3 weeks of graduation. I work for
Munson & Rude Endodontic practice in Kirkland. This
is a very fast paced office with high demand and I feel
that if it weren't for the training I received from
NSDAA I wouldn't be here today. NSDAA has high standards
set for their students. The individual attention you
receive from the instructors is outstanding. With a
small class size, Cynthia, Cheri, and the other instructors
always make sure you receive one-on-one knowledge, clinical
and chair side training throughout the program. I would
highly recommend this school if you want to have a bright
future as a dental assistant. Thanks Cynthia and all
the staff at NSDAA. |

April,
class of 2008
I graduated from NSDAA in May of
2008, and by mid-June I received a job working for a
great female dentist in the Kirkland area. By the time
I finished NSDAA I felt ready and excited to get a job
in the field of dental assisting. I enjoy going to work
every day! NSDAA is a fantastic school that allows you
to work full time while starting a new career. They
also have an amazing staff to go along with their awesome
program. If you're considering this career, then you
should be thinking about NSDAA! |

Wendy,
class of 2008
My experience at NSDAA is something
I am very grateful for. All the teachers are knowledgeable
and informative. Cynthia is always available to answer
any questions or concerns I have, even now that I have
completed the course. With the skills I learned at NSDAA,
I was able to start my career at a periodontal office
4 weeks before I graduated. I would recommend anyone
looking to start a career in dental assisting to check
out NSDAA. |

Tara,
class of 2008
I heard about NSDAA from a friend
who had recently graduated and had nothing but great
things to say about the staff and school. I had always
thought being a dental assistant would be a fun and
challenging job. I called the school and met with Cynthia
Curtis. After the meeting, I knew this was the school
for me: class sizes are small, great one-on-one with
the teachers, open labs and classes that fir my schedule.
One of my main concerns was being able to find a job
after graduation. With the help and advice from Cynthia
and the staff, I was able to find a job before I graduated.
I love my job an an orthodontiost's assistant. I know
that what I learned about dentistry and assisting from
NSDAA landed me my dream job. the certificate opened
doors for me, and I was confident enough to apply for
any type of assisting job in the dental field. Even
though I graduated in May of 2008, I can still call
and ask advice and know that Cynthia will be htere for
me. I cannot express how much I love the staff at NSDAA
and would recommend the school to anyone interested
in dental assisting. |

Heineman, class of 2005
I attended NSDAA in Spring of 2005.
Because of the exceptional training I received, I was
able to find a job 3 weeks prior to graduation. I work
in Issaquah at Eastside Pediatric Dental Group and I
just love what I do. Thanks to Cynthia and her awesome
staff I was taught the necessary dental assisting skills
and much more to make it an easy transition from class
to work. Cynthia knew my personality and was able to
recommend a few dental assisting positions for me to
call upon and within a week I had a job. I highly recommend
this school to any prospective student. |

Cynthia
Stevens, class of 2004
I attended NSDAA in Winter of 2004.
I graduated in April 2004 as Valedictorian of my class
of 10 students. While attending the academy I learned
so much in so many ways! The teachers are wonderful
and extremely knowledgeable about what they teach. They
really care about each individual student. The staff
explains things in a way that each person can understand.
It is very individualized since the classes are small.
Two weeks prior to graduation I was offered a job at
Dr Gerald Becker's office in Shoreline. I went to interview
with Dr. Becker and truly loved him and his staff, so
I accepted the job and started two weeks later. I am
still employed at Dr. Becker's office and I love every
aspect of being a dental assistant. |

Galen
McMahon, class of 2005
Hi my name is Galen and I love
all of the staff at NSDAA, they make learning fun! After
graduation I decided that I wanted to work in a dental
lab because I like to make things and I love to work
with my hands. I applied to B & H Dental Lab, which
is now known as Sea Brook Dental Lab in Edmonds. Because
of what I was taught in class I was able to take that
knowledge and expand into the lab field. One of my favorite
things to do in class was taking x-rays. Cheri Donlin,
who teaches this at NSDAA, is extremely knowledgeable
in the dental assisting field as well as being awesome
at teaching the different ways to get the best x-ray.
My next favorite thing was how to make a beautiful temporary
crown. This was great fun because you get to be creative.
It's what I learned in this section of the class that
got me my job at the lab. |

Randi
Tangen , class of 2005
NDAA taught me the basics of dental
assisting and gave me a chance for a career. With the
friendly staff and the small classes, the setting of
the school is home-like. I graduated feeling confident
that I could easily walk out and get a position within
the dental field. I now work in Issaquah with Eastside
Pediatric Dental Group. I love my job and am happy I
chose NDAA. Without all the help from Cynthia, the staff
and the great class schedules, I wouldn't have been
able to accomplish what I have with a full time work
schedule. Thank you NDAA for all that you do! |
